New Recruit – IT Operations Manager

Andrew Barker joins Taglab today as our new IT Operations Manager. Andy will be responsible for the day-to-day management of Taglab’s growing IT infrastructure, including our dedicated web hosting facilities in London Docklands. Taglab’s ever-growing server farm hosts dynamic, high-traffic websites for a wide variety of clients. Andy, who is a Linux guru, joins us from his previous role as an IT expert at Nottingham University.
Site Launch - Titan Outdoor UK & Ireland

Following Titan International’s recent acquisition of UK outdoor media specialists Maiden, Titan today launches their newly re-branded UK & Ireland website, designed, built and hosted by Taglab. The site, which is based upon Taglab’s content management system, Taglab Publisher 2, features a wide range of content, including an online photo library and interactive planning tools. Flash animations developed by Taglab are also being used to promote the brand re-launch on Titan’s own giant animated railway station “Transvision” displays. For more information, read our case study
V&A Museum appoints Taglab

Following a three-way competitive agency pitch, London’s Victoria & Albert museum appointed Taglab today to develop a new website to promote their major new exhibition - “At Home in Renaissance Italy”. The exhibition, which opens at the V&A this October, reveals the Renaissance interior’s central role in the flourishing of Italian art and culture, showcasing masterpieces by Donatello, Carpaccio, Botticelli, Titian and Veronese, and exquisite treasures from the Medici collections.
Site Launch – Betfair Mobile

Today, Betfair launches a new service enabling customers to use Betfair’s market-leading betting exchange via their mobile phones. To promote the new service, and to enable customers to register and download the mobile application, Betfair appointed Taglab to design and build a dedicated microsite – mobile.betfair.com. In addition, Betfair commissioned Taglab to design user interface elements for the new Java J2ME mobile application. To download the application, visit mobile.betfair.com.
Campaign Launch – Schroder UK Mid 250

The Schroder UK Mid 250 fund has achieve 1st decile performance every year for 6 consecutive years since it launched. Today, Schroders launches an online advertising campaign to promote this high-performing fund. Focussing on a theme of “monumental performance”, the campaign features animated typography carved into a rock monolith, with interactive executions where the user can chisel the rock away themselves, with their mouse. The campaign, targeting independent financial advisors, encompasses banners, leaderboards, skyscrapers and MPU executions, and will run on IFA Online and Morningstar.
