Web Feeds are a flexible way of publishing and subscribing to content via the web. Whilst Web Feeds are best know as a means of subscribing to news updates via RSS, they can also be used to integrate 3rd party content into a website.

Using Feeds to enhance your website

Integrating 3rd party content via Web Feeds, sometimes referred to as content aggregation, enables site owners to enhance their websites with automatically updating, time-sensitive content. As the range and quality of providers continues to grow, syndicating content via Web Feeds is becoming an increasingly popular option. Whilst there is a lot of freely licensed content available, it is also possible to license high quality targeted content from providers such as The Press Association and Reuters.
